Name:  Amara       Best Guess for Breed: Poodle mix, maybe some terrier Best Guess for Age:  7 years as of October 2024       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   14 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested.    Currently Living at:   Lucky Dog’s South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home to get to the DC area!   Amara is Looking For:   Her forever family! Through no fault, this sweetie needs a new home. She’s eager to once again have her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and all the adventures they can dream up – hey she may be 7 or so but small dogs’ batteries last a LONG time and she’s ready to go! Plus, at her size if there are giant obstacles in her path – hey, she’s portable!   Most of all, she wants to be safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say?
