See A – Lucy (Martini) 1641’s HomepageGo to our official websiteLucy was brought into SSR in 2020.  Due to no fault of her own, Lucy is being surrendered back to SSR. Lucy is a GREAT dog, listens really well. Gets along well with cats, good with dogs (better with male dogs. Good with toddlers (always need to keep an eye on them though) and would do better with older kids.  Great in her crate, that’s her safe happy place.  Is super smart, super sweet and fantastic Food motivated, eager to please, playful. Everyone that meets her loves her UTD on vaccines and no known isues.  Has gone to doggy daycare, did ok but a little mopey. Does well on car rides and likes to look out window. She will case chickens but doesn’t harm them.  Doesn’t pull on walks (Angel has a harness w/cinch that she uses and it works great) Lucy has had some professional training Like all dogs, Lucy has a few quirks, but none of them are extreme. Needs slow intros to some men but after a short while is fine with them. Tends to have a Sensitive stomach and is currently on Taste of the Wild Fish Recipe and should not have wheat  Doesn’t like the rain. Sometimes struggles with transitions but has gotten better. Submissive pee sometimes (depending on the situation) Barks a little when someone knocks on door(like all shepherds) With Loud noises/thunder it can be scary so she would rather hang in her crate. Is Stressed living in an apartment (this is a new situation) Lucy can be a little possessive of toys.  If you are an approved adopter and are interested in this dog, please let your case worker know.
